Secret Postcard Sale for Artbox

I created a mini postcard sized painting to donate to Artbox London’s secret postcard sale. The proceeds of the sale go towards helping people with disabilities create, exhibit and experience art.

Ultimately their work improves the wellbeing and inclusion of people with disabilities and autism, whilst increasing their visibility in the community and raising the profile of their artwork in the wider world.

It is important to me to support initiatives that embrace artistry and creativity to make our society a better place for everyone to live.

Postcards for Syria

I designed a postcard to be sent to Aleppo, showing the children in their war-torn region that there is a lot of love in the world for them. This heart-felt initiative was organised by Malaak NGO and Artfinder, and artists around the world joined in, contributing a postcard to share the love.

Royal Parks Half Marathon for Artbox London

I decided to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Artbox London, a charity that runs art workshops, exhibitions and trips for people with disabilities.

It felt appropriate to support them as ultimately their work improves the wellbeing and inclusion of people with disabilities and autism, whilst increasing their visibility in the community and raising the profile of their artwork in the wider world.

The proceeds of my paintings sold during that period went towards my fundraising for Artbox London.

I held a bake sale to support my fundraising towards the Artbox Half Marathon, and naturally, baked art themed cookies! The ‘spare’ cookies helped to keep my energy up during training too 😉
